Write this to "start file" area in the settings menu. I tried and it works! Don't waste your time anymore (like me :)

"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" "http://username:password@192.168.1.1/rebootinfo.cgi"

Note that you must have the firefox browser, and you must replace 192.168.1.1 with your modem's ip. Good luck!

if there would exist such a thing like a method that works everytime with every router/modem, don't you think in all these years somebody would have found that earlier? if you would write which modem model you use, other owners of that model could use your method.

if you had tried this, you would know it has no bearing on modem's model...
